Tangrams

Year 6LS have been learning about Tangrams. They watched a video on a website to learn how to make the seven pieces of a tangram.

As they watched, they learnt that tangrams are an ancient Chinese puzzle. They made shapes from a square, different sized triangles and a parallelogram. Some shapes they found easy to make while others were more difficult.

Here is another site where you can learn more!

Here is a site that tells a football story using tangrams.
